“For some reason I was hesitant to play the Mass Effect series as I thought it “wouldn’t be for me”, but I was immediately captivated by the setting, the characters, and the story, and quickly became completely absorbed in it. I really appreciated how it felt like my actions had a legitimate effect on relationships and on how the story unraveled. The remaster of the game was great, and I was consistently surprised by how good the game looked (aside from human faces, which often looked awful), despite the original game being released over 19 years ago. The only negative I have against the game was its combat, which was quite clunky and generally not very fun, but everything else about the game was incredible.”
