“As someone who has been gaming for more years that I would like to admit, I am understandably skeptical of any licensed game that gets released, having been burned by bad uses of good licenses too many times in the past. I am a big fan of 80's action movies though, so the idea of a new RoboCop game was certainly intriguing, but I figured Rogue City was going to be a cheap cash grab, so I held off on buying it until well after it was released. I noticed it go on sale for a really good price on the PSN so I looked at some reviews and decided to give it a try, and I'm glad that I did, as Rogue City ended up being some of the most fun I had gaming in 2025. It wasn't the most polished game, but the developers did an incredible job of staying faithful to the franchise and really made me feel like I was RoboCop, which was so incredibly satisfying.”
