“I had always heard great things about Alan Wake, so I decided to finally give it a shot. However, maybe my expectations were a bit too high, because by the time I finished the game I felt it was a bit overrated. Sure the story is good, but it didn’t blow me away like most people hyped it up to be. The gameplay, while unique, starts to feel dated and clunky after a while. By no means do I think Alan Wake is a bad game, I just think it’s either overrated, or my expectations were simply too high because of the constant praise I’d heard about it prior to playing. A solid recommendation for anyone who’s a fan of the Horror/Thriller genre!”
