God of War Ragnarök

“I played through God of War (2018) for the first time in 2025 and I loved every minute of it. I was captivated by the story and was surprised by how invested I got in the growth of Kratos’ and Atreus’ relationship. The game’s combat was incredibly fluid and fun too, and all around it was just a fantastic game. A few months after finishing it I played through the sequel, God of War Ragnarök. I enjoyed it quite a bit and feel its gameplay and world design were improved over the original game, but I didn’t get all that gripped by its story, which hurt the experience for me. It was still a solid game, without a doubt, but I couldn’t help but feel slightly underwhelmed once the credits rolled.”

“Great fighting, like the 2018 game. The story was pretty good too. But I lasted under 10 hours, as the puzzles were too frequent. Fight for 5 minutes, PUZZLE. Cutscene, PUZZLE. Repeat. I don’t remember the 2018 game being like this at all. I mean there were puzzles, but this one went overboard with it.”
