“First Quantum Dream game i've played, and what a game indeed. Definitely fills in that SCP feeling, and has an interesting story. Fun gameplay, but just know that it can get stale. This is due to so many interesting mechanics that all get power crept by throwing objects. The same with the service weapon (pistol), so many cool gun mods I wanted to try, but one of course power creeps them all by a large margin. The last thing is that the story ends in a weird spot, people say that its supposed to be weird due to the nature of the world this game takes place in, but it still didn't feel right, it felt too abrupt. I am looking forward to play control: Resonant though, so I can continue the journey. also, the DLC was really fun, but still will suffer from the stale fighting mechanics.”

“Despite me not playing Control anywhere close to when it was released, I was still super hyped when I finally got around to playing it. The gameplay footage I had seen always looked like a lot of fun and I was really drawn to its aesthetics and David Lynch-esque story. Disappointingly, I did not really enjoy the game that much though. The story was convoluted and I wasn't a fan of the combat. Enemy variety was lacking and enemies were huge bullet sponges, which made every combat encounter drag on. I also grew tired of thespecial abilities (like picking up and throwing objects) due to the over reliance on them due to the gunplay being unsatisfying. Also, the DLC didn't add anything meaningful to the experience and I wish I would have just skipped it. I really thought I was going to love this game, so it was quite the disappointment when I didn't.”
