“I played through Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in 2024, and despite playing it on older hardware (Xbox One) and encountering consistently horrendous performance and numerous bugs, I still had a fantastic time playing through it and was excited to play through Survivor in 2025. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it as most aspects of the game were far improved over the previous game. The combat was challenging and engaging, the world design was excellent, and the graphics were incredible. However, while most aspects of Survivor were improvements, the story was a major letdown. I would consider Fallen Order’s greatest strength to be its story as it did a fantastic job of introducing the world, the characters, and the conflict and main villain were adequately intimidating. Survivor, on the other hand, lacked entirely in this aspect, and the game’s villain just felt underbaked. Still, the gameplay was a joy and I enjoyed the game enough to get the platinum trophy, which I don’t do often.”
