“Beautiful art style and amazing music. This is the first metroidvania I have ever played so I do not know how it compares. I loved the differences in each area. I did often get very lost, but that was probably mostly on me. The boss fights were difficult but fair and I enjoyed the way they would reuse and add to the enemy move set. You play as a cute cat entering the afterlife and meet other animals while you all deal with missing the people left behind. Crypt Custodian also is very respectful of your time. The accessibility settings can help those like me (who are bad at games) get through the difficult boss fights. I only had to do it once but it made all the others easier in way. I was always able to push through because I knew if it felt impossible that I had a chance to get past it.”
