“I had put off playing through the Resident Evil 3 remake because of the negative response it received upon its release: primarily its short length. I was actually blown away by it. The game, at least on PS5, was stunning, looking considerably better than RE Village, despite being an older game. I never played the original RE3, but I really thought that the game's setting was cool, and I really appreciated how the story tied into RE2. The gameplay was a lot of fun and I surprisingly really enjoyed the inventory management aspect of it. It was short, which I would have found super disappointing had I bought it at full price at release, but what was there was a lot of fun to play though. I enjoyed this far more than I had ever expected I would.”
